Robert F. Faulkner, D.D.S.

Robert F. Faulkner, D.D.S. graduated from The Ohio State University in 1980. Following a one year hospital residency, he practiced general dentistry in northwest Ohio until 1990, when he returned to an advanced graduate residency program in prosthodontics at the U.C.L.A. School of Dentistry. Dr. Faulkner received his certificate in prosthodontics in 1992 as well as a certificate in maxillofacial prosthetics in 1993. In addition, he received full training through the U.C.L.A. Implant Center during his three year residency training programs.

He has lectured extensively on several aspects of prosthodontics and implant dentistry, both nationally and internationally. Dr. Faulkner is the director of The Ohio Center for Osseointegration and Restorative Dentistry, a state of the art continuing education facility for clinicians, technicians, and auxiliaries. He has a faculty appointment as a Lecturer for the Department of Removable Prosthodontics at U.C.L.A. In addition, Dr. Faulkner is an adjunct professor in the Department of Prosthodontics, University of Louisville.

Recently, Dr. Faulkner co-authored a textbook with his mentor from U.C.L.A., Dr. John Beumer, III. The textbook, “Fundamentals of Implant Prosthodontics” is published by Quintessence Publishing Company, Chicago, IL, and is designed for dentists, graduate residents and dental students alike. Dr. Faulkner resides in Cincinnati, Ohio where he maintains a private practice limited to fixed and removable prosthodontics, maxillofacial prosthetics, and implant prosthodontics.

Dr. Robert J. Faulkner grew up locally in Cincinnati, OH. He graduated from Ball State University with a Bachelor’s degree in Biology and a Master’s degree in Human Physiology. He then moved to Philadelphia to complete his Doctorate of Dental Medicine degree from the Maurice H. Kornberg School of Dentistry at Temple University. While at Temple, he was the president of the Stomatognathic Honor Society, and the recipient of the American Academy of Implant Dentistry Award for outstanding achievement in implant dentistry.

After graduating, Dr. Rob traveled to sunny California to complete his specialty training in Advanced Prosthodontics from the University of California-Los Angeles. He is currently a member of the American College of Prosthodontics, Academy of Osseointegration, Cincinnati Dental Association, American Dental Association, and American Academy of Fixed Prosthodontics.

When not working, he enjoys spending time with his family. His wife is a pediatric dentist, and they have a golden retriever named Moose. He enjoys working out (former physique competitor), playing golf, and traveling.

Dental Assistant

Trish is a lifelong resident of Cincinnati. She has been a Dental Assistant for the past twenty-two years and has been trained in all facets of dentistry, but she has a passion for restorative and reconstructive dentistry and the various procedures associated with prosthodontics.

Reaching a level of excellence is a constant goal in her daily activities. In addition, she takes pride in her ability to communicate with our patients and to help make them feel as comfortable as possible, and she certainly enjoys the daily challenges that the specialty of prosthodontics provides. Prosthetic Dentistry also provides a continuum for learning cutting edge technology that we provide for our patients.

When she is not in the office she enjoys gardening, playing with their two dogs, and spending time with her husband, David. She looks forward to seeing each of you in our office!
